Yann's labour of love in her first-ever recital in Malaysia.
C'est l'amour was Yann's first homecoming recital in Kualu Lumpur, Malaysia. Set in The Garden Theatre, Mid Valley, the recital opened with a "call of love", a theme symbolic of her yearning for those she loves that had eventually led her home. The first half focused on the themes of love - fidelity, passion, flirtation and even heartbreak. Penang-born songstress Yann Kee boasts an impressive resume, having built a successful career as a performer, teacher and adjudicator in Perth, Australia, where the classical soprano is based. A graduate of the University of Western Australia, with High Distinction, majored in Classical Vocal Performance, Yann is currently a soprano for the WA Opera, a vocal coach for the Perth College and Corpus Christi College, a regular adjudicator and also the founder of her own Connecsion Voice Studio.
